For the past several years TNRPCV has been volunteering with Nashville Public Television during the pledge drives, answering phones and taking pledges. It’s always a fun time! Plus, they kindly give us pizza and cookies. Please join us this year!
Thanks to everyone who supported TNRPCV by attending the wine tasting at Flyte wine bar and restaurant. It was a blast and it was great to see new faces! With the funds raised, we’ll be able to give more grants to current PCVs from TN. Theses grants are discussed during our monthly board meetings, which are open to all TNRPCVs.
Do you love Ethiopian food? Never tried it? Join us for our May International Dining About Town (IDAT) event at Gojo Ethiopian Cafe. Check out their menu. We hope to see new faces and old friends.

TNRPCV invites you to their annual Nashville wine tasting with proceeds supporting Peace Corps development projects around the globe. Come mingle with Returned Peace Corps Volunteers, enjoy wine & snacks, and support a wonderful cause.
The event will be on May 3rd (6 to 8pm) at Flyte World Dining & Wine (718 Division Street, Nashville, 37203). Tickets are $40 and include the tasting and light bites. If anyone wants to stay for dinner, they will receive %10 off their meal. The Big Payback is also that day. If anyone brings proof of Big Payback donation, they will receive a special gift. The site to by tickets is TNRPCV’s Spring 2017 Wine Tasting.
Here are some photos from recent TNRPCV events. It was a lot of fun to gather at East Nashville Brew Works for happy hour to celebrate Peace Corps Week. At the event, we collected items to include in restart kits for newly arrived refugees. As a way to kick off Peace Corps Week, we volunteered at Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore.
On March 3rd at 3pm, we’ll be visiting Senator Bob Corker’s office to advocate for Peace Corps issues. If you would like to participate, please contact Lacey Cook at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Update: April’s iDAT venue has been changed from Woodlands to Korea House. It has won numerous awards for being the best Korean food in Nashville. If you’re just hearing about iDAT (International Dine About Town) for the first time, TNRPCVs gather each month at a different international restaurant to enjoy the cuisine and fellowship. Please send RSVP Allison Stewart at email@example.com.
